In this case, too, the product was to be presented before its actual realization.
As the project was still likely to undergo minor changes, an iper-realistic airbrush illustration would have required unnecessary long times and high costs, so I decided to use markers, which are best suited for illustration layouts, but with an advanced airbrush-like masking technique.
As usual, final retouchings are in gouache or crayons.
After this presentation, TEC.LA. was ordered mass-producing the welding machine.
Markers
Markers can be used with interesting results, and and in a shorter time than airbrush requires, but a great attention is necessary: an only unparalleled or poorly traced line can ruin the work.
