Designed to prevent free flooding of huge water masses inside Ro-Ro ships, this system is based on doors which are to be tight-sealed only at bottom and sides, to be closed during loading operations, and which can be stepped over by personnel who are not to get trapped while sea water is invading load area.

After some accidents, ship owners decided their big Ro-Ro ships needed more compartments inside payload area to prevent sudden loss of stability; Navalimpianti proposed mobile compartments, safe and easy to operate during load operations.
